I hate the fact that media/television/movies portray the idea that love can conquer everything.  Love can NOT and will not conquer everything and it is not the answer to every problem in the world.  Problems do not fix itself with the magical power of “love.”  I may love someone, but we do not agree with every whimsical thing in the world.  The world’s problems are solved with solutions and compromise not love. Life is not a episode of Boy Meets World where love fixes everything.  If anything love only causes more problems.  There are so many relationships that stay in fact when one person asks the other person “well do you love me though?”  Love can only take you so far.  Life if a bigger picture then love or not love.  There are real problems in the world that cannot be solved with love.  If I want kids, and my partner doesn’t, no matter how much I love them, their opinion won’t change on that idea.  The same can be said for marriage and many other problems.  The simple solution is that there is no end all be all solution to ANY problem, and that includes love.  Love does not make the world go round, and does not solve anything.
